The Recording section offers 3 options to choose from:

[Beta] Automatic deletion (recommended)
Record audio
When you enable this feature, every phone call is recorded as an audio file. The recording is available for 30 days and can be listened to or downloaded during this period.
Important: Regardless of whether the audio recording of the call is enabled, the assistant must explicitly inform at the beginning of each conversation that the call is being recorded. This is a technical requirement – AI phone calls are not possible otherwise.
[Beta] Automatic deletion (recommended)
If the called person verbally declines the recording during the call, the recording and transcript are immediately and automatically deleted.
In this case, no post-processing or data extraction takes place.
Recommendation: Specify in the prompt that if the recording is declined, the call will either be ended or forwarded to a real person.
Note: When testing your assistant with automatic deletion enabled, if you decline the recording during the test call, the recording will be deleted and will not appear in your dashboard. This is the expected behavior of the feature.
