How to connect Telnyx with Fonio

Create SIP Trunk

1. Create a SIP Trunk in Telnyx with FQDN setting.

2. Add the domain:

   vojhwtf1hn6.eu.sip.livekit.cloud
   

   Select SRV as the entry.

3. Optional (for outgoing calls):
   Set credentials (username and password). These can be chosen arbitrarily.

4. For incoming calls, configure the following:

   • Number format: +E.164 (with leading +)

   • Protocol: TCP

   • Region: Europe

   • Codecs: Restrict to the recommended codecs

5. For Outbound Settings V2:

   • Profile: Default

   • Select your desired country

6. Add the already purchased number to the trunk.

Create Number in Fonio

1. Create the same number in Fonio as in Telnyx.

2. Optionally fill out the fields for outbound:

   • Termination URL: sip.telnyx.eu

   • Username: Username from Telnyx configuration

   • Password: Password from Telnyx configuration

3. Save the number and assign it to an assistant.

This completes the Telnyx integration and the number is usable in Fonio.
