Call Settings
Last updated: February 17, 2026
Here you will find all the information about the most important settings related to your AI calls.
In the call settings, you have the option to influence two properties of AI phone calls:
Maximum Call Duration
Maximum Wait Time
Maximum Call Duration
The maximum call duration determines how long AI conversations can last at most. This allows you to prevent callers from speaking with the AI for an extended time, which could result in high costs. You should base this limit on the average length of your typical conversations. You can add a time buffer to determine your maximum call duration.
Maximum Wait Time
The maximum wait time defines the period the AI will wait if the caller stops speaking or no longer responds to questions. If the caller does not hang up but stops responding, the AI waits for the specified time and then automatically ends the call to avoid unnecessary costs.
