How to connect Twilio with Fonio

Create Elastic SIP Trunk

  1. Go to Elastic SIP Trunks in Twilio and create a new trunk.

  2. Enable SIP REFER and PSTN Transfer and save your changes.

  3. Add the following origination:

    sip:vojhwtf1hn6.eu.sip.livekit.cloud;edge=frankfurt;transport=tcp

  4. Enter the number to be used with Fonio.

  5. Optional (for outgoing calls): Add a Termination URL. You can choose this freely.

  6. Set Credentials. The friendly name does not matter – username and password will be needed later.

Create number in Fonio

  1. Create the same number in Fonio that you set up in Twilio.

  2. If you set credentials in Twilio, transfer them to Fonio as well.

  3. Assign the number to an assistant.

Your Twilio number is now connected to Fonio and can be used for incoming and outgoing calls.
