How to access or request missing invoices

If you're missing an invoice or cannot access it in your account, there are several ways to resolve this issue depending on your situation.

Common reasons for missing invoices

  • SEPA payments: When paying via SEPA, it can take up to 10 days for the invoice to arrive after the payment is processed, as Stripe waits for the payment to be fully processed before generating the invoice.

  • Expired download links: Invoice download links in the back office may expire after a certain period.

  • Credit top-ups: For account credit top-ups, the final invoice is only issued after the SEPA payment has been processed by Stripe.

How to get your missing invoice

Check Fonio Payment Tab

Login to your fonio account and check the "Payments" tab. There you see every payment and its invoice. Invoices are available to download for 30 days.

Contact support directly

The quickest way to get your missing invoice is to contact our support team with the following information:

  • The payment amount

  • The date the payment was debited from your account

  • Any payment reference numbers from your bank statement

Our support team can resend the invoice via Stripe or provide it directly as an email attachment.

Automatic invoice delivery

Invoices are automatically sent by Stripe to your registered email address. If you haven't received an invoice, check your spam folder or contact support to verify which email address is registered in your account.

Setting up automatic invoice forwarding

If you need invoices to be automatically sent to additional recipients (such as your accounting department or business manager), contact our support team. We can configure your account to automatically send all future invoices to specified email addresses.

What to include in your request

When contacting support about a missing invoice, please provide:

  • The exact payment amount

  • The date of the transaction

  • Your bank's payment reference or transaction ID

  • The purpose of the payment (e.g., credit top-up, subscription)

This information helps our team quickly locate and resend the correct invoice to you.
