Configure Different Assistants for Incoming and Outgoing Calls

You can now assign different assistants for incoming and outgoing calls on the same phone number.
This allows you to customize behavior, prompts, and greeting messages individually based on the call direction.


Setting Up Different Assistants

Here’s how to configure separate assistants for incoming and outgoing calls:

  1. Go to Phone Numbers in the left sidebar

  2. Select the phone number you want to configure

  3. Click on Change Assistant Assignment

  4. Choose the assistant who will handle incoming calls

  5. Choose the assistant who will handle outgoing calls

Example:
For the phone number +49 30 374638

  • Incoming calls: Assistant 1 (configured for customer service)

  • Outgoing calls: Assistant 2 (configured for sales)


Important Notes

  • Outgoing calls are only possible with imported numbers or SIP numbers.
    Shared fonio numbers do not support outgoing calls.
